The Coleman kayak comes in many styles and features including one person sit-on top kayaks, inflatable sport kayaks, two person, sit on top kayaks with paddles and two-person, inflatable touring kayaks with paddles. These kayaks feature a deep V entry hull for greater speed and easy paddling. The hull has two additional lateral keeps for greater stability and superior tracking, and the hull flares out to a wider beam.
The Coleman Ranger kayak is a ten foot, sit-on-top kayak, weighing only forty-four pounds, with a weight capacity of 275 pounds. It has an adjustable backrest, which offers more comfort for longer excursions. The Ranger also has molded-in carrying handles, as well as a molded-in tank well with shock cords. It is self-draining, has exclusive safety flotation in the kayak and a spray deflector that helps keep your gear drier.
Coleman Kayak Choices
The Coleman Venture kayak has a length of nine feet, six inches and weighs thirty-four pounds. It has a weight capacity of 250 pounds and is made from the virtually indestructible Ram-X. This model also has the adjustable backrest for your kayaking comfort, a self-draining system and a spray deflector collar. It has large, graduated foot braces, with grab loop handles fore and aft and the Venture includes an aluminum paddle.
Finally, Coleman’s Voyager II is a two person tandem, sit on top kayak. It weighs sixty-three pounds and is twelve feet, nine inches long with a maximum weight capacity of 450 pounds. This kayak is also made from the indestructible Ram-X. It has the adjustable backrest for maximum comfort, self-draining to allow water to completely drain out, and molded-in carrying handles with grab loop handles fore and aft. The Voyager II also has exclusive positive safety flotation built in. Two eighty-six inch aluminum paddles are also included with this model.
Coleman’s two person inflatable touring kayak is eleven feet long and thirty-six inches wide and is made from tough, twenty-six gauge PVC construction, with a thirty-six inch wide backrest for leverage. It comes complete with a cargo net for storing your gear and dual cup holders.
The Coleman One Person Deluxe Open Top Kayak is especially made for the kayak enthusiast who enjoys adventure. It is six foot eight inches long by thirty inches wide and is finely crafted from tough twenty-two gauge PVC and includes a cup holder and an aluminum paddle. The One Person Deluxe also features dual tracking fins for ease of steering.

Coleman also offers a Deluxe High-Volume Bellows Pump made from rugged heavy-gauge plastic with bellows constructed from durable nylon fabric. This pump has a 3,000 cc capacity, flexible four feet, non-kink hose with adapter that can be used to both inflate and deflate your Coleman inflatable kayak.
Finally, you’ll want one of Coleman’s Roll Top Duffel dry bags for all of your water sensitive gear. It features a unique air/water tight closure system with all seams welded to keep water out. This duffel is made from durable polyester and has a polyurethane coating inside. It also has a flat bottom, which prevents rolling, and convenient carrying handles.
