Waterproof kayak dry bags are available in both coated nylon and PVC materials. Roll-down closures are the easiest to use and provide the most dependable seals. PVC bags are generally more durable than nylon and are widely available in a variety of sizes and weights.
When purchasing waterproof PVC kay dry bags, look for quality materials. The strength of PVC bags is in the thread--the vinyl only provides the seal. The fiber scrim of nylon or polyester gives a bag its tensile strength and puncture resistance. Less expensive PVC fabrics have a lower thread count, indicated by the larger gaps in the screenlike pattern of the underlying threads. PVC kayak gear bags have two sides--a textured scrim side and a smooth face side. To check thread count, examine the scrim side.
The material's thickness, combined with denier and thread count, is the best indication of the fabric's overall ability to withstand abrasion, punctures, cutting, and tearing. Heavier, stiffer materials do not fold as tightly and will not form as reliable a seal in a standard roll-down closure as will a lighter-weight fabric. Generally, the heavier the material, the stiffer its feel--so you must usually compromise between the bag's watertightness and its durability.
Kayak Deck-Mount Dry Bags

Just make sure that the dimensions will allow it to fit through the hatch opening on your kayak.
